Re: R. Thomas signs three-year contract

You guys act like Thomas is starting and the Raiders have the worst D in the league. The fact of the matter is that Thomas is a depth player and Oakland's defense was statistically better than our's in 2006.

Exactly I wasn't making out Thomas was doing much on the Raiders merely remenissing that he was one of many of the draft busts in recent years..I know that he is no more than a role player and isn't starting,so in future you shouldn't go around bashing people's opinions and knowledge of the NFL unless you know what they are really saying.. :l

Great googly moogly! Reality sure can be a swift kick to the manhood sometimes.

Our D sucks.

My point is that we're probably not in the best position to point and laugh at another team's defense. Thomas was a marginal starter here and a bust as a first round pick, but he would have provided good depth both inside and outside. I'm certainly not convinced we're better off with Raonall Smith and Jamal Brooks.

Fair enough, point taken.

I must say a marginal starter is more than fair.
