Reggie White Passes Away at 43

Just saw this on ESPN this morning. Reggie died of a massive heart attack at approx 10am EST this morning. Reggie White was 43.

Here's the real tragedy. White was so dedicated to his craft that he decided to learn Hebrew in order to understand the biblical text he was interested in.

His life was shortened while any number of functional illiterates continue to populate the planet? That is not justice.

Just another testimonial to the notion that "Only the good die young."

Wow, hadn't heard that. Very impressive. I wonder if he learned any Kione Greek to study NT text, as well. If he was dedicated enough to learn Hebrew for OT studies, I bet he did. That is, indeed, someone confirmed to his calling.

OK. Maybe I exaggerated that one a bit. But that is only in light of the 75,000, and still counting, in the partially Islamic Fundalmentlist Far East that have learned the Tsunami lesson that if they want a Holy War don't put it in God's name. He'll beat you silly. I wonder if those Islamic Fundamentalist revellers in 9-11 are still amused?
