ricky williams drug test

Ricky apparantly tested positive for a substance other than marijuana. Appeal pending of course. I would love the perspective of those asking to give ricky the benefit of the doubt when this story first broke some time ago.

Ricky is an enigma. All the talent in the world but could actually really care less about football. He says it all the time. He's just a care free guy who recently was just hanging out in Austin.

I know it seems weird to us layman who love the game of football to understand someone with all that talent who could care less about the game but that's Ricky. I think he's just trying to tell everyone that he doesn't want to play football so he fails drug test after drug test.

He recently said locally that he would rather sell alternative medicine products in some small shop on Barton Springs RD here in Austin than play football. That's Ricky.

I agree that he is a riddle wrapped inside a puzzle baked inside a question mark. I have no issue at all with him making whatever decision he wants with his life, i believe 100% in free will. However, he signed a contract and he owes the dolphins the bonus money back. Once he pays it back, he should be free to do anything or nothing for the rest of his life.

The context of my post was wondering about the people who were hoping and suggesting that ricky had simply missed a test due to the trip to india.

I think he covered that situation by playing last year so financially he's ok, but the guy would rather smoke weed and go see Toni Price every Tuesday night at the Continental Club on S. Congress than make millions playing football.

TX, are you sure that he paid back the full 8.4 million? I thought he still owed them plenty and was crying poverty. I understand that he is going into business with Nate Newton, spreading the gospel of the fine herb.

I thought that since he played last year for the minimum that he fulfilled his contract and that now he's able to do whatever but I'm not sure.

I do know that he owes the City of Austin for about 500 parking tickets.
