Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
I think Ryan could be a very good Quarterback in this league, he probably won't get his shot here. I just hate to see talent like his being wasted. I think he would be a good fit for oakland. they draft Calvin Johnson, and IF they keep Randy Moss, that would be a good Recieveing duo. As much as I like ryan and want him here, I just would be interested in seeing him be a starter somewhere else, and not just a 3rd string qb. I'm sure some of you would like to see him be a starter too, and I am sure ryan wants to be one too.

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Ryan is a great young prospect, but if you like the man as much as you say, don't wish him to Oakland. That would almost certainly end his career. Unfortunately, I don't think he's quite ready to be a starter anytime soon, but I'd like to see him step up to our number two spot.

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Even if Fitz went to Oaktown, he'd still be a back-up to Walters, and they would still draft a franchise QB, and he would STILL be the 3rd stinger.

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Why would you want to trade away Fitzpatrick? I think that he has a lot of potential right now. He just needs some more experience. For this reason we should keep him for our qb of the future. Marc isn't going to be around forever.

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
No, no. Please, keep the Harvard kid. Fitz might develop into starter material -- with us!

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Fitz is way to intelligent to play for Oakland. Just a terrible fit!

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Honestly I don't give a rat's arse about talented players on our team leaving to get to start for another team. I obviously want our team as loaded with talent as possible. If we had Bulger, Manning, and Brees all on the same team, who gives a flip if they are wasting their potential on the bench? It's good for us and bad for everyone else.
And I would never want anyone to have to suffer playing for the faiders. What a nightmare!

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
the raiders won't suck forever, you all saw what andrew walter did this past season, he sucked. raiders is the choice were he could compete for a starting job, they are more likely to draft calvin johnson, than jamarcus russell. on the other hand ryan could be a starter for the browns???

You're intent to trade this kid, aren't you
No, i don't think he could possibly start in Cleveland right now. Mostly because they potentially have a shot at one of the top two QB's in the Draft. Pretty sure Crennel will take a top Weis prospect over an unproven 3rd stringer to start.
Food for thought though-:l

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
hey kid, if he leaves , he won't be OUR FITZ ANYMORE. and the ram's brought in RAGONE last year to see if a veteran could move this kid out, and he couldn't. this is his 3rd year here, why would a team put in so much work , for someone else to benefit from it. after this year, he will be moved to 2nd string, or 1st backup, however you want to say it. because he now knows the coach and the system, and his value is greater now than before.from the way that you make this discusion, you must be a very young teenager.

Re: Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Raiders??
Fitzpatrick sits on the bench and learns just like any other young backup Qb. As long as Bulger is slinging the rock effectively, thats where he'll be.
I don't understand why you would trade him because you think he's a potential starter and would make another team better, Thats not football mentality. Backups are very valuable, especially the Qb position.
If he's got potential, he stays. If we get something really good in return then maybe...just maybe.
