    ESPN.com reports New Orleans Saints OT Jammal Brown (knee) sustained an apparent right knee injury during practice Tuesday, Aug. 7, and was carted off the field. The injury occurred during a contact drill. Brown stayed down for about 20 minutes before being taken off.

    Man, that sucks. That kid looks like the next generation of Pace/Ogden/Jones, and now has to suffer that. Hope it's nothing long-term.

    If the Saint's had'nt taken him, he would have been a Ram.

    I sure hope he's ok.....The Saint's are a team I love to hate. I really hope he's ok. Otherwise, that gives all of the Saint's fans back home an excuse when the Ram's stomp that @$$.

    He was really the guy I wanted us to get to fill the RT spot back in 2005, though I questioned how well he could translate to the left side for New Orleans when they made that announcement. He answered those questions, and I'm looking forward to seeing the kind of season he has. Hopefully this season isn't in jeopardy for him.
