Saints @ Colts Thursday night
Thought it would be fun to kick off the NFL season with our predictions on the outcome of the 1st game of the 2007 season.
Colts 38 Saints 34
It would be nice to see the NFC Saints lose this game.

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
im slightly torn on this one!
i`d like to see the Colts get beat on primetime in their first regular season game since winning the SB but i want our rivals for home field advantage in the play-offs to lose...ok sorry i realise you wanted a score prediction, just whenever i watch any sport i got to want to one team/athlete win over the other,i cant just watch as a total neutral!
Ok Pundit hat on....erm....Colts 27 Saints 23

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
Looking forward to watching this one should be plenty of offence. IMO with home advantage and a suspect Saints secondary which Manning and co. could torch, I will go for the Colts..
Colts 30
Saints 24

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
I did predict Manning would torch the Saints awful Secondary which he duly did, however I expected something out of the Saints offense. Their gameplan was poor, Brees was just dumping passes off and got nothing going in terms of intermediate or deep passes. Big credit to the Colts they looked really good but the Saints really looked under prepared..

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
I don't think the Saints are going to be as potent on offense this year, but they are still in the NFC so they should do well.
But man, are the Colts really that good? If the D keeps playing like that look out. Can't wait for Nov. 4th, Colts/Pats.

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
Colts looked good but well,Saints O-line weren`t playing at the same level that so surprised the NFL world last season and Jason David had one great play but the rest of the evening was CB hell for him...theres only 2 or 3 CB`s in the NFL that can man to man cover the Colts WR`s and David is never gonna be one of them, out of all the Saints only Will Smith got the upper hand over his personal opponent...
i still think the Chargers are the team to beat this year and Colts can be beat by a better balanced team than the Saints ....as for them Saints,i think its premature to think that they are now back to their familier "also ran" selves ...but it certainly showed how they can be beat and i can certainly see us as having the tools to beat them if we execute against them come our match up later in the season!

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
Brees was pressing out there. Once they got down by more than two touchdowns, it was over. Kudos to the Colts defense because the Saints were getting nothing deep all game. And what about that kid Keiaho? He made some nice tackles plus that interception. The Colts got 28 points by exploiting Jason David (Addai's 2-yard run came right after a deep ball to Harrison), but they can make any defense look bad.

Re: Saints @ Colts Thursday night
I can't imagine that will be there average performance. They looked lost out there, but you have to believe they'll get it together since there's no real changes on offense. At least I expect they'll get it together to score more then three points on offense.
But that being said they don't look like the elite offense everyone thought they were so hopefully that means our defense can have an easier time with them.
