    Saints make QB Drew Brees NFL's highest paid player

    The New Orleans Saints and quarterback Drew Brees reached an agreement today on a five-year deal worth a total of $100-million, including $60 million guaranteed in the first three years and $40 million in the first year alone.

    Well.... good for him. Not sure how it will work out for the Saints. That's a lot of money to pay for one person in a team sport. I guess they're a lot better with him than without him. Gonna get tight if someone else has a big season and wants some dough.

    Man, am I glad this excruciating debacle is over. I couldn't take much more of Brees' whining and what not. Let us hope that now he has got his dough he shuts up and just plays the game.

    This entire affair was about as appealing as watching sausages being made.

    Saints should have just started rebuilding. Atleast keep competing while stocking up on young players. If they don't, falcons panthers and bucs are about to own the division for years to come. And the saints will back to the aints
