Re: Saunders to Washington...
That's one heck of a staff. Gibbs as the HC, Gregg Williams as DC, and now Al Saunders as OC. Wow, nice move by the 'Skins, and a kick in the nuts to Al Davis.

Think of the profits.
But seriously, Saunders was supposedly the favorite for the Raiders head coaching vacancy, and instead, he makes a lateral move to Washington to coach the offense there. Embarassing for Al Davis that Saunders would rather remain an OC with another team than go be a head coach for the Raiders.

And from what I've heard and read, Davis was banking on Saunders......wonder who's next on the horizon for Felony Field?

Unless . . . Saunders knows that he will be the heir apparent to Gibbs. Gibbs is not exactly a youngling. Also, Snyder is willing to spend more for coaching. I wouldn't be surprised if a Snyder OC makes more than a Lions HC.

Re: Saunders to Washington...
Speaking of Al Davis, as much as he's hated by a lot of people, I think Georgia's still the leader in terms of evil owners. Actually, in a weird, freak-show type of way, I'd like to see the demon spawn that those two popped out if they had a kid.

Re: Saunders to Washington...
I think Williams is the favorite to take over right now. He's been promised a $1 million bonus if he isn't made the HC when Gibbs leaves.
