Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks TE Jerramy Stevens (knee) has a torn meniscus in his left knee that will require surgery Friday, Aug. 18. Stevens is expected to miss six weeks.

Trying to get my hands on a full article. If so, that's a fairly big blow. They've still got Mili, who looked good from what I understand in the first preseason game, but virtually nothing behind him.

We lost Hannum to dallas, weve got two rookies...and Leonard Weaver who played Tight End at Iowa I think and seattle converted him to a fullback.

That leaves Mili as the starter....he was excellent for seattle in 04 ...stevens will more then likely be gone through the week 5 bi and be back after that

After reading the articles about the Hawks-Cowboys game, hearing about Alexander getting 13 yards on 6 carries, and now Stevens getting a serious injury, all I can say is the Hawks are off to a really rough start this season.
