The Associated Press reports the Seattle Seahawks acquired veteran FS Mike Green from the Chicago Bears for a sixth-round draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Not a bad pick up for a sixth rounder, just wonder if it would have been worth the Rams looking into getting him

i agree tomahawk. It never ceases to amaze me how guys that have proven that they can contribute in the nfl get valued at the same level as a 6th or 7th round pick, rounds where a reasonable percentage of guys get cut or arent around in a year or two.

Kind of interesting. Yes, he was benched in favor of Chris Harris last year, but you'd still think Green would garner better than a 6th.

He has the experience, which is one thing our secondary is really lacking. He could have come in and partnered Chavous if Atogwe/Bartell doesnt pay off

Funny how the fans perceive people. If you look at the Bears fan site, they talk about him like they're glad to be rid of him (despite having 2 100+ tackle seasons over the past four years). Same with the Vikings fans. They talk the whole "good riddance" thing about Chavous when from my perspective, their secondary took a tremendous hit when they lost him.

Maybe people just see things in the way that's most convenient for them...
