Seattle places OT Chris Terry on injured reserve

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks placed tackle Chris Terry on injured reserve because a shoulder injury that will require surgery.

Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack will start at right tackle when Seattle visits Minnesota on Sunday. He started two games in October when Terry was nursing his shoulder and two games last month when Terry visited his hospitalized mother.

"He's been kind of gutting it out for a few weeks with his shoulder," coach Mike Holmgren said. "I feel bad for Chris, first of all. But 'Chop' has played, so you press forward. You move on."
