Seattle planning to bring in another Rams defensive lineman... Jimmy Kennedy!

DT Jimmy Kennedy is coming in for a tryout with the Seahawks this week, I believe he is coming in tomorrow. Don't read too much into this, I am told. Usually the team brings in players in groupings at their position so that in case there is somebody injured in the future they have a book on potential replacements. Though this one adds a bit of intrigue because of the recent acquisitions of Jason Babin and Ellis Wyms, so obviously there is a need for a defensive tackle. Kennedy is 325 pounds, though in an ESPN.com story on Kennedy by John Clayton when he was traded from St. Louis to Denver, Clayton mentions that Kennedy was traded because he was not the run stopper the Rams wanted him to be. Denver released Kennedy before the season.
