Sidney Rice to Seattle
Adam Schefter reports on twitter. 5 yr deal worth 44 mil. 18.5 mil guaranteed.
I'm pissed.

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Apparently Sidney Rice will prefer to catch passes from bums this season as opposed to Sam Bradford, so I assume he's not a smart man. Oh well...
...What the hell is keeping all these guys away from St. Louis!?

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Yeah. His numbers will be similar to Larry Fitzgerald's last year, watch.
I'm just getting frustrated by the fact that all these players the Rams are reportedly interested in keep getting signed by different teams.

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
As am I, but I'm still not threatened by that Seattle offense. Hasselbeck leaving was the best news we've received all offseason.

Darrell Bevell, the Seahawks' current offensive coordinator was also Minnesota's offensive coordinator last year. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Well expletive, but, the deal isn't official till Friday... I could see Billy D offering him 5 years 45 mil and a chance to win the division for the next five years at the eleventh hour.

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Yeah after playing with Jackson in MN, I don't know why someone would voluntarily play with him again, but it's his loss. He can wallow on a mediocre team for the next 5 years instead of make a real name for himself with one of the up and coming stars of the game. He's now a nemesis who I will root against every Sunday just like every other rival in the NFC West

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
I'm not upset at all with these players going elsewhere. I don't take it as a shot at our RAMS. I just feel like DeSpags will not break the bank for any of these guys. What's so great about Rice anyway? Why go crazy with the coin for one guy when we can probably pick up a few key players at the right price. We are rebuilding through the draft and sprinkling in a few free agents here and there. Patience my friends, patience.
GO RAMS!!!

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Besides most of you brag and tout how Mcdaniels "brings out the best in medicore talent" We have like 2-4 #2 WR's and like 2-3 #3 WR's. We might not have a huge tall WR that everybody THINKS will be a #1, we have talent and remember this, not only do we have guys to stretch the field vertically but also horizontally. At Ease Clan!!!

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
Rice never did well with Jackson at QB. He did best with Favre who "leads" his receivers, Jackson stares his WRs down.
He better get used to being punked by Bartell.

Re: Sidney Rice to Seattle
We're building for the future, the Shesquawks are just building for 3 years of competition only to become garbage afterwards. They have bigger holes to attend to other than WRs and does this mean they don't have enough cap room for Mebane? Bartell will shut him down like he's capable of shutting down Fitz and Johnson.
