Philosophically - The Raiders seem to enjoy the wayward athletes with a hardened edge to them that the Federal Judiciary system seems to bring

Strategically - The Dolphins.......the Wildcat; makes too much sense as long as it doesn't stunt the growth of Pat White

Socially - Every prisoner needs a halfway house to transition back into society and for all intents and purposes the Bengals' Paul Brown stadium is as good as a halfway house now.

There are some rumblings that the Redskins may give him a shot as well; they have shown signs that they aren't entirely pleased with their QB situation. But I don't think Vick would be a great fit in their offense.

I'm afraid the Patriots would sign him. I bet they would be able to handle the circus without distractions. Of course he wouldn't be replacing Tom Brady, but he would be lining up as RB, WR and/or some kind of weird hybrid position in the backfield they create to fit him. The worst part is I could see it working too...

That situation makes the most sense from all the others I heard. Another factor is there fans (not knocking the folks on the east Coast) are more tolerent of "tainted" goods to get wins. Their organizatrions is more tight lipped--media controlled, then just about any other NFL.

Reading through the teams shown, the Redskins were the ones that came to mind for some reason..i'd like to see him in the NFC East assuming he's still athletic enough to be a threat.

Patriots would be the best team to handle him and any possible distractions.
I've heard the Ravens are considering him as of recent, (that's who I voted for), but also heard they are declining anything.
Of course, I don't think we know half as much as we think about who wants Vick and who doesn't. NFL teams are just trying to get everyone confused for a purpose. Also, if Vick thinks that nobody wants him, he will take a smaller offer than if he had two or more teams competing for him.
I'd think a team with no interest at all could pretend to show interest, just to increase his value for another team. Hey, gotta take advantage of that salary cap, lol

On Tuesday, Vick told players at a Hampton University basketball camp to use his story as an example as they work to follow their dreams. According to a release from the university, Vick told the campers that he accomplished his goals and then "allowed someone who didn't have my best interests at heart to take all that away from me."

That statement quoted above does not sound to me like a man who has accepted responsibility for his mistakes. If he were genuinely remorseful, I could see why teams, including The Rams, might be tempted by his talent on the field.

But I think statements like the above will not help him win over NFL decisionmakers or fans.

You can almost hear The Universal Mom saying " So you just went along with what The Bad Guy told you to do? If he jumped off a bridge...."
