Steve McNair R.I.P.

Superbowl XXXIV was a tough fought battle thanks to the athleticism of Steve. Although he played on the opposite side of the field to us he will be remembered as a great athlete and sorely missed. Condolences to his family, friends and fans.

Re: Steve McNair R.I.P.

This man was one tough son of a gun. An amazing athlete. Had me on the edge of my seat in Super Bowl XXXIV. So fun to watch scat across the field.

R.I.P.

Re: Steve McNair R.I.P.

The man almost gave me a heart attack at the end of SB 34, but he cemented his place as my favorite non-Ram NFL player after that final drive with the heart he showed.

RIP, Steve.

Re: Steve McNair R.I.P.

I think the man earned EVERY Rams fan's respect in SB 34. And that dude was TOUGH his whole career, playing through all kinds of injury and still playing well!
He was one of my favorite players to watch (they always show Titans games around here), and was very much respected throughout the league.
R.I.P. Mr. McNair, you will forever be remembered for your grit and determination.

Re: Steve McNair R.I.P.

very sad news. R.I.P steve. a very good quaterback sad to see him go early. still to this day i dont know how he broke those 2 tackels on that final drive that was only of the most clutch throw ever

what most people dont remeber or know is everyone that i hear on the news is saying he came one yard short of winning the superbowl, he came one yeard short of TIEING the game, if they scored they would go into over time not nessarly wining the game right then and there.

He was a great competitor. It's always a shame to hear that someone has come to such a tragic end.

Not to mention all the gray hairs on my head that he is responsible for.

He did lose but it was one of the most impressive losing efforts I've ever seen. You usually don't end up gaining so much respect for a player after he loses a game.

And now it's looking fairly certain that his girlfriend pulled a Chris Benoit.
