    For STILL upset Warner fans.....

My suggestion? Go find another team. It's pretty obvious that to some of you, you will never get over the fact Warner was let go. If by now those of you who are still upset with that direction by the Rams, I highly suggest you walk away and find another team. I took a week sabbatical from this site, and the same lot of you who were spewing about what happened before the season started are still at it. For your own sanity, please find another team. This one let you down way too much for you to get over it in a professional, adult manner. He's never coming back, there will be no real revenge whatever happens, so anything that happens from now on will be nothing but torment for you.

If you truly can't get over the fact he was let go, there are several other teams out there that you can choose from. Please feel free. That's my holiday wish for the fans of Warner. If you are able to get over that he was let go, bully for you. If you can't, good luck.

I totally concur. This team needs all the positive support it can muster. The way things are going, too many posters blame Martz and Bulger, etc. for all the wrong reasons.

I read an article that NY's Coughlin needs a lot of love as his team is near mutiny. I wonder if the posters you sublimely refer to reak havoc on the 'ants sites ....

I am staying with the RAMS with whomever at coach and QB! For the next 30 years.

Happy Holidays and A SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR FOR ALL, on and OFF the Gridiron!

You already have moved KW-related threads to a different forum, I suppose you could ban them for their own good if you still don't like what they say.

It's not that, it's just what is the point anymore? At first yea, I could see it. However, still? He isn't coming back, there isn't any grand revenge scheme, it is what it is.

Banning is such a harsh thing, no one here really wants to ban anyone. However, if Warner means that much to fans still, then for their own sanity they may think about changing loyalties. It would be much healthier for them.

It's just....what more can be said? Really? It's to the point now that if you still are harping on the subject, I highly suggest moving on to another team. For your own good. That's all.

It's nice to know that someone is looking out for the lost and forlorn's interests. I wonder if Dr. Phil needs an assistant.

If this thread doesn't become the poster child for the General Smack Forum, I'll be surprised.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

What exactly is the point of this? Warner was and is one of the biggest names in Rams history. He's never going to go away. Since that's the case, if you have a problem hearing about him or the debatable decision to get rid of him maybe it's time for you to move on to a different team. The more you try to get people to stop talking about him the more you're going to give yourself fits. It's probably in your best interest to just move on.

If you can deal with the fact that there will always be Rams fans who are Kurt Warner fans "too", bully for you. If you can't, good luck.

It's just getting to the point of ridiculous. Fans like you mokler, have moved on. You were once one of the most vocal but as a fan you have moved on. It isn't in every post of yours anymore, to your benefit.

However, there are still those that have to post about him everytime. It's not just one person. Those are the ones this thread is directed to.

I think its funny that you say Mok has moved on when he sports a Warner-themed sig quote.

For those of us that didn't jump ship after what we endured in the 90's, this is just a bump in the road and we're not going anywhere. Sorry.

Everyone seems to be missing the point.

Here's the point. If you can post on threads in topic that have nothing to do with Warner, great. This isn't for you.

If you have to post about Warner, even if the thread is about the special teams, then I suggest you move on.

Watch the threads. See who is doing it and who isn't. It's more than one person also.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

I understand that Tex but I think you may be a little too focused on the Warnerites. What I mean is, the number of individual posters solely focused on Warner is pretty finite. Even Atc, who's central argument generally stems from Warner's release, is one of very few who are actually using Warner as an argument anymore.

Even Atc, as biased as they come, is making coherent, understandable points in regards to his arguments so I don't agree that he's a Warnerite(in the worst sense of the definition). On top of it all, the central theme for any of us who initially thought that it was wrong to get rid of Warner, is what would be best for the Rams. It's obviously a debatable opinion with volumes of statistics and situations to argue either or both sides of the fence.

But, just like Namath will be forever attached to the Jets, so will Warner be attached to the Rams.

Believe me, it's taken a huge shift of opinion for me to alther my stance on the subject. But I will forever hold a grudge about the initial decision and circumstances surrounding that decision to get rid of Warner. My position has always been that Warner wasn't the problem for the Rams and making him (of all people) a scapegoat was just plain wrong.

In the now, I happen to feel somewhat vindicated in my opinion since it seems obvious to me that no qb would be able to make the Rams a good/great team right now. Which leads back to what I argued so many moons ago, it's not the qb. Changing to Bulger won't save the Rams from the big picture. Warner playing here now would not solve any of the problems the team is having and would be worse for Warner. I'm content, as well as anxious to see where ol' Kurt plays next year. But, I don't begrudge those who feel that Warner would have been a better qb to keep. I happen to agree.

When it comes to football discussions and message boards I think it's a good idea to let people debate and discuss whatever they want. That's the point of this place. Yes, it's a well worn discussion but so what? If people are still willing and wanting to talk about it, then more power to them. That's what you want on a message board.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

Oh goodness. I can't even explain our position as a board without getting lambasted.

Alright, I'm back to my head moderator status for just a second. I apologize Dez, but I feel I must.

This is our board. It's free to everyone, but we run the thing. If we delete your post because it's out of topic, it's because it's out of topic. Don't cry, don't whine, don't complain. If you don't like it, move on. We don't want your criticisms, we don't want to be told how to run the board, we don't want helpful hints. This is our dictatorship. If you don't like it, move on to the other boards.

    How's that?
