Just stay in topic everyone and all will be good. Go out of topic, and the edit mode kicks in.

    No matter who it is.

So Tx, you ready for another sabbatical?
Warner has become like politics and religion, there's just no way to have a discussion without some people getting a nose out of joint. Either one has to hate Warner or hate the Rams, which in reality neither is true.

It's like walking a tightrope in a tornado.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

As long as it's in topic, fans can wet their pants while typing about Warner. I don't care. Just keep it in the topic.

LOL.. of course.. if I can't figure out, or don't WANT to figure out, how it's in topic, then it's not "in topic".

Don't care what any of you do. You can't write Warner out of the record books.

He remains, despite your fingers in your ears and your cries of LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALAALALALALALALALALAALALALALALA.

And it will be a relevant topic as long as Martz is here.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

The problem, atc, is that you think Warner is relevant to EVERY topic.

Martz - he should be fired for what he did to Warner
Faulk - he was better when Warner was here
The Defense - they played better when they had to practice against Warner
Bulger has a good game - Warner would have done better
Happy Holidays - they'd be happier with Warner
The War in Iraq - it would be over if Warner were the General
President Bush - should hire Warner as an advisor
Giant Meteor Hurling Towards the Earth Promising Doom for All - Warner can stop it

Kind of like Andy Garcia's character in Hero with Dustin Hoffman....

I'll keep it wherever it comes up.

He's relevant to every topic about the Rams' decline. I will grant you that. And once Martz goes, there won't be anyone else left to blame for his being kicked to the curb besides the idiots Shaw and Frontiere, and we all know they are simply our albatross. We will never be free from their stupidity. We MIGHT be able to cut from from Martz'.

In any event, it is worth a chuckle to see two moderators get into a lick fest in order to attack someone on the board who disagrees with them vehemently. From what I've read on here, I'm not the only one who thinks this is still a relevant topic.

    LOL.

Warner led us to a Super Bowl victory. Come on. Say it with me. Surely you can be happy that we once hoisted the trophy!

And it was one awesome adjustment by Isaac Bruce and a tremendous tackle by Mike Jones that won the Super Bowl.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

why would you even care if a thread shifts topics anyway? Is it in the Message Board 101 guidelines?

it's like a conversation. It starts with someone saying one thing, then others chime in with their 2 cents, and eventually you might get off on a tangent....so what?

And 9 times out of 10, the only other "topic" change that "bothers" these moderators, is when it changes to KW.

Exactly. It's like.. "I'm going to control the discussion here, doggonit, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Good grief, get a grip. If most of the people didn't want to deal with it, they'd pelt the poster with either 1) silence or 2) SHUT UP ALREADY.

If it's 1), what's the person going to do? talk to himself all day? If it's 2), I might see your point. But, being that Warner was JUST RELEASED THIS OFFSEASON, and the BETRAYAL of MARTZ just happened LAST YEAR, this is STILL a very relevant topic to MANY Ram's fans.

    Like it or not, Warner-Bashers.

    Tx-

I can't believe you went to the " I'm the leader and I can dispose of you at any time " card. I thought you were bigger than that.

I knew you were a firm Martz supporter, but I didn't realize you thought just like him " I'm going to run things the way I always run things and if you don't like it, get a new HC. oh yeah! the FO is wrapped around my little finger, so I'm not going anywhere. so, if you don't do as I say, then I will bench you, or trade you, or leave you on the practice squad so another team can take you, or I'll just cut you".

I thought this board was about debate, that's what makes for good discussions. if everyone agrees, or if you delete everyone who doesn't agree, this board would not be worth coming to.

I for one look forward to what everyone is discussing every day. and I know if it's posted by you it's in support of Martz and Bulger and I know if it's posted by ATC it has something to do with Warner.

the rest of us fall somewhere in between ( if not completely agree with you-oops! ).

but the point is, it makes for a great board. if you start running this thing like a Hitler regime, where everyone agrees and discusses what you want, when you want, or they disappear, then this board will be flat out boring.

by the way, feel free to delete this post at any time, if you haven't already.

Re: For STILL upset Warner fans.....

It's the exact message I want to send. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy the site, but we have to have rules in order to keep some semblence about it. This isn't anything new, we've been saying the same thing for 5 years now. If you don't like the harshness of it, there are plenty of other Rams sites to go to. You may find out though that the only Rams site that dosen't have the same view as us is the PD board. It's not like we constantly edit posts anyway, look at how few we do edit. We wouldn't mind suggestions on how to improve the content or the looks of the site, but we don't need suggestions on how to run the board. I think after 5 years, we have that part down.
