Did I not get the memo about not being able to challenge non-call penalties? (When New England challenged the non-call penalty of 12 men on the field) Obviously the refs know more than I do, but I thought you couldn't challenge a penalty, let alone a non-call...Isn't that the same as trying to challenge a non PI call? Someone help me out here...

Good question. We were thinking the same thing. Can you challenge a non-call? I don't know...but they did and they got a first down for it.

Seemed pretty lame to call it on a guy that is running off the field and has nothing to do with the play.

I believe that they changed the rule this year for where you can challenge if there are more than 11 men on the field and it goes uncalled.
Of course, if you noticed that, and you ended up getting a good chunk of yardage, you just stay silent and ignore it.

thank god Bill Belicheck is not on the NFL Committe that Jeff fisher is. I think he's the head of it.. if Im not mistaken. But I guess you can challenge it. they change the rules so much, it's hard to keep up with it.
