Owens suspended four games, will not return this season with Eagles
Terrell Owens is finished with the Philadelphia Eagles this year and perhaps for good. In a prepared statement Eagles coach Andy Reid announced the wide receiver would be suspended for 4 games for conduct detrimental to the team. He won’t be returning to play for the team even after the conclusion of the suspension.
Advertisment
Reid further mentioned that the league has been notified by the players union that they will be filing a grievance over the right of the Eagles to take such action.
Reid said “This decision is a result of a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time during which Terrell had been warned repeatedly about the consequences of his actions. Even with the activities that took place last week gave Terrell every opportunity to avoid this outcome.”
Reid would not answer any specific questions about the Owens suspension.

Re: T.o. Done For Year
So the Eagles will probably just pay Owens for the rest of the year and make him inactive after his 4 game suspension is up, like the Bucs did with Keyshawn.

Re: T.o. Done For Year
So, who signs him next year?
Has to be a team with:
1. A QB who is good enough to meet T.O.'s standards; and
2. No #1 WR to take looks away from T.O.
Hmm....
That leaves...
Um....
Hmmm....
Nobody?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: T.o. Done For Year
What a waste. All the talent in the world, yet his dime-bin brain can't function at all. If this guy is anything other than a Raider, I'll be shocked. Not that the Raiders need ANOTHER social reject at wideout, but life just keeps sending them there.

Not sure if anyone will. Maybe should is a better word.
I think one of three teams.
Packers
Dallas
Raiders

Poor Aaron Rodgers. He'd have 3 Rosenhaus clients in the same receiving corp........Holy holdouts, Batman!

Re: T.o. Done For Year
Parcells wouldn't take him, besides I think Keyshawn would kill him.

Re: T.o. Done For Year
Best news I've heard all season.
I watched a bit of Eagles-Redskins game, it seemed they're better off without T.O. but they'll still be losing anyway. Bet the Eagles will cut him and TO will take his mouth to where he belongs, the Oakland Raiders LOL.
Imagine the world with two selfish recievers, TO and Moss, on the same silver and black. I'm not sure how Kerry Collins will handle this kind of selfishness.

Actually, Atlanta seems like a good fit. I mean, Vick doesn't want to be critized....T.O. just wants to be loved for his 100 touchdowns.....perfect fit.

Good riddance.
Hopefully T.O. won’t get a job doing pre-game shows for the rest of the season.

Re: T.o. Done For Year
Wow, he made it, what, a whole year in Philly? The guy is a poison to any team once the honeymoon is over. I could see Atlanta or Oakland in his future. Although, Mora may have seen enough of him in SF.
I'm think'in a body suit underwear gig may open up for him soon. LOL"...and a great new warrior emerged from the many, to carry the torch, and his name was Rammin' Jackson...and a new era had begun! Bring on the battles to come, he screamed!"
