***** TE Vernon Davis prides on his reputation...

....as a player who likes starting fights in camp every year. He's been doing it since he was a rookie!

Vernon Davis Scuffle

Techincally this isn't a Rams video, so I decided not to put it there. Let's hope for more of this, yea?

I just noticed, after dropping a beauty F bomb, he begins to shrug someone off not realizing its Coach Mike Nolan. Man, he is such a rebel. The way his career is going, I'm kinda glad he didn't fall to the Rams.

1. Looks like Manny Lawson started something he couldn't finish.

2. I don't know what he said to start it, but he wasn't the first to make contact. What was he supposed to do?

3. Son, do what your coach tells you. Don't be a child; when your coach tells you to "come here", you "come here."

I dont mind off-season scuffle I even think they are a good thing. What I didnt like was him launching a team mates helmet into the air. You do that to the enemy not your team mate even after a scuffle. A good tussle neverhurt anyone but show some team pride and dont throw yours or your team mates helmet.

Re: ***** TE Vernon Davis prides on his reputation...

Looks like Davis is much more effective at mini-camp fights than he is at on the field production.

Re: ***** TE Vernon Davis prides on his reputation...

You guys have to remember that Steven Jackson has had a scuffle in training camp too. Its common to see these scuffles in training camp. I'm sure a few other teams have already had a fight.

It was Haralson. Haralson's number is 98 and with his jersey getting pulled up it's hard make out the numbers. Lawson is supposedly healthy but was held out of mini-camp as a precaution, so I'm certain it wasn't him

That looks about right. Lawson is taller but Haralson is more stout. Though Davis manhandles them all in practice

It's funny, the big knock on Davis coming out of college was that he was just a receiving TE who didn't block well. Yet he's established himself as a pretty good blocker, but hasn't done a whole lot in the passing game (though that's not entirely on him).
