HoustonTexans.com reports the Houston Texans have released FS Marcus Coleman from the team.

I think he would be a pretty good pickup.

They let tony Banks go to,and I just cant for the life of me understand why.

Why can't you figure out why they let him go? Probrably money reasons.

He was saying he was being sarcastic.

Coleman would be a good veteran addition for a small contract. I think Zig was high on this guy. The Texans don't exactly have a strong group of safeties though, so it's hard to believe they'd let Coleman go if he was a good defensive player for them. He wasn't really costing them a lot either, with a base salary for '06 under two million.
