Tim Tebow
Should they pull the plug on this project, he looks a mess....

Re: Tim Tebow
Tebow is fun to watch, but he's wildly inconsistent and most likely isn't going to take the Broncos anywhere. The alternative though isn't much better these days.

Re: Tim Tebow
Tebow = bad.
anyone who is dumb enough to draft and actually play a qb from the U of Fla deserves what they get. The only serviceable qb from there was grossman, and he's pretty bad all things considered. But, Tebow is so much worse, compared to him Grossman looks like Joe Montana out there.

Re: Tim Tebow
I'm not sure who's more stupid, the Broncos for drafting him so high, or the fans for wanting him to play so badly. Tebow is exactly what we thought he was. The only type of offense I think he could run successfully would be some sort of wildcat offense, but NFL defenses have caught on to that already and made it not very effective. Maybe he can learn to block and catch and play TE, but I really don't think there is ay future for Tebow in the NFL.

Re: Tim Tebow
John Fox is a smart coach. He knows Tebows terrible. He also know the fans demanded he play.
So Fox figures, hey ill trade away our only solid receiver(Lloyd) and let Tebow prove how worthless he is. Its not like Ortons giving me a better chance to win anyways. Then ill take my QB in next years draft.

Re: Tim Tebow
He was 2 for 8 passes BUT he won again unreal... He completed 2 passes and one was for a TD! How is that even possible?

Re: Tim Tebow
Love him or hate him, the guy has redefined "it". What he did against the Jets is the stuff of legend. If anything, he is fun to watch. He's tough to write off as well.

Re: Tim Tebow
He's making haters look like fools. Kinda funny. Have to admit the guy comes to play and brings it.

Re: Tim Tebow
We've never seen anything like this before.
Oh... wait....
Except for Vince Young, who went 30-17 as the Titans' starting QB despite his poor passing skills. Remind me... where is he now?
Or, how about the Miami Dolphins Wildcat Offense, which helped the Dolphins win their division a few years back. Remind me... where is that offense and where are the Dolphins now?
Tebow fans should enjoy this while they can. It won't last.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Tim Tebow
Well, he brings it in the last five minutes of games, which has worked so far. His passing is still atrocious and I'm not sure how much longer he's going to be able to rely on just his legs. I'll be watching to find out.
I'm rooting for him just to shut up smug, egotistical moron Bill Maher. He's already taken care of another idiot, Rex Ryan, who was left shaking his head and muttering to himself on the sideline after Tebow scored. That was absolutely priceless.

Re: Tim Tebow
Here are the real numbers:
Broncos Offense
Under Orton: 21.4 pts/game
Under Tebow: 17.0 pts/game
Broncos Defense
Under Orton: 28.0 pts/game yielded
Unter Tebow: 21.4 pts/game yielded
So, if you ask me, Tebow has been the beneficiary of a greatly improved defense (lead by Von Miller, the likely Defensive Rookie of the Year, who has 9.5 sacks already). While Tebow has made plays in crunch time, without the defense, there never would have been a crunch time.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Tim Tebow
Once the offense is countered, I think they should move Tebow to running back and come up with some trickery shenanigan plays for him. He can't throw as well as most QBs, but he can throw well enough for a running back that surprises people from time to time with a trick pass instead of a run. The question is if he can take the beating running backs take. We're going to find out this season I think.
