Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans have a sense of urgency when it comes to improving their offensive tackle position this year and they are likely going to be forced to pursue the position early in the NFL Draft. Team GM Floyd Reese said the team may have to use their sixth-overall selection on the position.

Re: Titans looking OT in round one?
I've been wrong before, but I would be VERY surprised if they did anything but take either Rolle or Pac-Man. They have no corners returning that have any significant playing time. Starting a rookie is bad enough, so they better get one of the best available.

I agree with you, bison. While I wouldn't be surprised if they chose to take a tackle because of the depth at corner, I think they should be taking a corner first. This is probably just posturing at this point.

They have to protect their QB also, and he always seems to get beat up bad every year,so it might not be posturing.

McNair is always injured and they'll be drafting for a QB if they don't protect him better.

Re: Titans looking OT in round one?
Their starting corners are Andre Woolfork and Rich Gardner. They may try to rely on the depth of the corner draft this year and go OT in the 1st, but I just can't see it happening. They have to have a starting corner and with the #6 pick, I'd rather pay that kind of money to a Pac-Man or Rolle than I would a Barron.
