"Torry can play for six more years"? That's not what he said last year!

Since this is a "no link site" i cannot post the video interview Torry did on NFL network before probowl - you might of seen it?

Anyway, when asked about retirement he said he will look to play 2 more seasons and see how he feels from there.

Now, I'm not criticising Holt in anyway - I love him as a player and for all his contributions for the Rams organisation.

But what made him jump from 2 years to 6 years?
Is it because its a fresh start or Linny is out of the way or may have a chance to succeed with the Jags?

    Your thoughts?

    Thanks

I am glad he is gone. Good route runner and good hands. 2 yards after the catch average is bad. I think him being gone will give this team a fresh start and allow some of the younger WR's to step up and assume more of a leadership role.

Because Torry didn't want to play more than 2 years when he was with the Rams, but now that he's got a fresh start and is somewhere that he likes, he probably loves the idea of being able to play for six more years.
Holt's got a great shot to continue to move up in the record books, I wish him the absolute best with the Jags... except for when they play us of course!

Holt's leadership and attitude come into question for me.

It was time for him to move on.

    Thanks for the memories.
