Travis Henry vs. Willis McGahee

Hey guys, I have a fantasy football question I want to put to the Clan. I'm in a bit of a bind this year in my league. I need to "keep" one of two players RBs : either Travis Henry or Willis McGahee. Both are with better teams then they were int he past. Henry is with the Denver RB factory and McGahee is on the SB favorite Baltimore Ravans. In the other hand, both RBs have underacheived in recent years. I also need to consider age because this could be a keeper league so hopefully one of these guys can be my man for years to come, which would instantly favor the 24 year old McGahee over the 28 year old Henry. What do you guys think?

Long-term, then definitley McGahee, but I think Henry will be great in the denver machine.

As long as you can. I made an idiotic mistake two years ago. I traded for Terrel Owens, one of the best WRs in the game, for a 2nd year RB out of Oregon St. who had never put up impressive numders becuz he never got the ball in the system he played in. Yeah, I'm a moron. On the other hand, one guy in our league drafted LT and Peyton Manning as rookies and has had them ever since. He has won 3 straight championships.

I'd keep, Henry - if you want to make a run at it this year. Henry is gonna put up a lot of points this year and possibly next after that he hits 30, which seems to be the tip of the hill for RBs
MaGahee - I've always been a supporter of Willis. I think he has more potential then most backs in the league however he never seems to reach it. But I could see him turning out like a model version of Faulk going from a team where he just couldn't produce well to a team where he explodes... but you'll have to wait to find that out.

I have been in the same situation this off-season in one of my leagues as well... I took Henry.

It's a real tough decision.

1. Travis Henry- I like him better than Willis overall and the last article I read about the Broncos said that Mike Shanahan was going to get away from the runningback by committee in 2007. Henry is going to have a huge year.

2. Willis McGahee- He has joined a running team and has the age on his side. Just don't know if he'll ever reach his potential.

Tough call.......

If it was me I'd go with TRAVIS HENRY and win now!

Wg younger player who seems to have more of an upside, but he is extremely injury prone and that wont help in the long term so i voted for henry who will be very productive right now.
