true but bizarre giants story

One of my best friends in new york city has a son whose wife is expecting twin boys any day. At the start of the playoffs, he told his wife "If the giants win the super bowl and eli is the mvp, we are naming the kids eli and manning."

Well, the father is euphoric over the victory and the wife is panicking and retrading. My friend is not happy as he cant deal with the name manning goldstein!

I said to my friend, "Well richard, look at the bright side, if your son was a bigger fan of the defense than the offense, he might be trying to name your grandsons osi and osumura."

My bet is that they reach a compromise and name one kid eli and the other some unknown name rather than manning.

This is what i call true devotion and i can respect it. I swear this is a true story.
