The play that always stands out for me with Hill was the first series of the first game against the eagles a couple of years ago. The rams have the eagles backed up inside their own 5 yard line, mcnabb throws deep to the right sideline, HIll is ALL OVER deshean jackson and somehow jackson makes the catch. The eagles go on to kill us and we go 2-14 that year. Hill was in perfect position to make a play and yet it wound up as a 40 yard completion.

I remember that. Wasn't there also another play where he was juked so badly he nearly fell over trying to recover? Good riddance...

    Re: Tye Hill released

The sad thing is Hill actually had a pretty solid rookie year. 10 starts, 50 tackles, three interceptions. But injuries basically drained him of his confidence and the rest is history. At least the Rams got something in return for him.

It is interesting that Jonathan Joseph and maybe Donte Whitner are the only first round DBs taken that year that have seemed to pan out. The other five first rounders haven't worked out that well for their teams.

Looks like he signed on with the Titans today. Good for him I suppose.

Always great to see our busts landing on their feet.

I'm not sure a third team in less than two years is landing on your feet.
