UFA OT Michael Munoz hangs up cleats
(3:00 PM): Undrafted Vols' OT to hang up cleats... Former Tennessee OT Michael Munoz has announced that he is quitting football and moving on to other things after he went undrafted at this past weekend's draft. Munoz's draft status had been hurt by the fact that he had had rotator cuff surgery on a shoulder earlier this year, although its not clear if the lingering effects of the injury was itself enough to force Munoz to retire.
Sorry to hear this. I really thought he might be worth picking up and stashing on IR for a year or two. Then have something special. :upset:

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports undrafted rookie free agent OL Michael Munoz (knee, shoulder) may not be done with football after all. His agent, Robb Nelson, has fielded enough calls about him to sign as a free agent, which is causing him to rethink his retirement.

The original announcement seemed premature. You know someone will pick him up. We could at least bring him into camp. Wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Not with the Rams
The Rams already have drafted lots of OL depth. Couple this with their experience with Couch (someone who's heart wasn't into football on the Rams terms) and I think they take a pass. I also don't think his agent would sign him with the Rams anyway - not after they drafted another rookie OT, plus another rookie that can play OT (Incognito), and a rookie guard.
