Very hot **********rumor*******
The NFL owners have been discussing some major changes in the area of scheduling games. They would like to see all Monday, Thursday (Including Thanksgiving Day) and Saturday games removed from the regular season schedules.
They are proposing each and every game be played on SUNDAYS only. The first step in the process would be to lengthen the regular season to 18 games. Then the following regular season keeping in place the 18 SUNDAYS ONLY game schedule but have all teams play doubleheaders thus extending the regular season to 36 games.

Half the players would be crippled by the end of the second season. Never going to happen.

Obviously the NFL teams would have expanded rosters. The question is how many more players will they be allowed to dress per game?
