    Vikings FB Joey Goodspeed tears ACL and will likely miss season

    Fullback Joey Goodspeed, signed as a free agent in February, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee Saturday afternoon and almost certainly won't be available to play this season. Childress said only that Goodspeed "hurt his knee," but a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the diagnosis.

    he kinda was booted out of the position last year by martz... yes hedgecock did do a pretty good job last year but goodspeed did show potential at FB too...
