The Associated Press reports former Minnesota Vikings DL Carl Eller was arrested in Golden Valley on a charge of driving under the influence early Sunday morning, Feb. 26. Lieutenant Chuck Walerius with the State Patrol said a trooper stopped Eller after clocking him going 97 miles an hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone on Interstate 394 around 3:30 a.m. Eller's bail was set at $500.


Is it me or does it seem to be like alot of Vikings have been arrested lately?

Carl Eller ... member of the Vikings famous 'Purple People Eaters' of the late 60s, early 70s.

Very good DE, but I never liked him -- not just because he was the enemy. DT Allan Page was also our nemesis but I respected him, and still do. The same for Jim Marshall.
