I am not sure about the details, but I was flicking through the channels and stopped on NFLN and noticed that Vince Young got in a shoving match with one of his defensive players after they injured one of his recivers. I only caught the tail end that said Young apologized, but I still find it interesting. I don't see a team playing good together if they can't mesh.
Anyone who would like to add the details of this feel free.
From what I have heard about the incident, safety Donnie Nickey was taking a few shots at Receivers which didn't sit well with Young. Young preceeded to shout at Nickey asking him what he was doing, Nickey shoved Young, Young in turn pushed him back and then took a swing at him with his throwing hand before the fracas was broken up. No injuries were reported, hope this helps clear it up a little...
So some safety named Donnie Nickey (who the fart is Donnie Nickey?) shoves the Titans shiny new franchise QB?
How many seconds went by before Mr. Nickey was shown the door?
VY has the same skills (minus the speed) as Vick. The difference between the two is that VY has got heart.
Regardless which team he plays for you got to admire a QB that is willing to throw blows for his WR's.
I agree with HUB. This guy Nickey better watch it or he'll find a pink slip in his locker.
Donnie Nickey went to THE Ohio State University Graduated in 2003 and was a 5th round draft pick by the Titans. If I remember right last year in camp Nickey got in a fight with Lendale White.
