Warner & Faulk to Detroit

Think of that. Kurt and Marshall together again!
Martz would take them both in a heart beat.
I don't care who you are, that's funny right there.

Re: Warner & Faulk to Detroit

Millen and Martz apparently aren't getting along so I don't think Martz will get anything that he wants in Detroit. It may be pre-draft posturing but Detroit has already said they aren't going to draft a qb in the first round(Quinn/Russell) and are happy sticking with Kitna. I used to really stick up for Kitna and thought he'd gotten the shaft more than once but he's really an average qb at best. I watched quite a few Detroit games this year(as I'm a fan of Martz...the OC) and Kitna isn't really wired for the Martz system.

I would love to see Warner get another shot at starting and can't imagine a Faulk/Warner reunion with Martz hurting what Detroit can do. I mean, they can't really get too much worse than 2 or 3 wins. But, as much as I think gloves-Warner resembles GSOT Warner, he won't be offered any starting jobs and Faulk won't be lacing them up again at all. Fun to think about though.

Re: Warner & Faulk to Detroit

But now if they can get Az-Hakim back up to Detroit and bring Tom Nutten out of retirement, well, then you're talking....a lot of time on the field for the trainer.
