Warner named starting Qb for 04

This morning Giants head coach Tom Coughlin named Kurt Warner his starting quarterback. Warner beat out the Giants #1 draft choice Eli Manning for the job during an intense quarterback competition this summer.

I don't think anyone is surprised by this. I just hope Kurt survives the Philly and Redskins game without serious injury.

As it should be. Should have been a non-issue from the beginning.

Warner has the experience, not really a big deal. Eli could get in at the Philly game with their blitz happy defense and Warner's recent history of injuries. Good luck to him, though.
