    This Weekend's Night Games

I find it interesting how two of the AFC's powerhouse teams - the Steelers and the Patriots - nearly dropped games this weekend to inferior opponents at home. The Pats were really outplayed at times by Buffalo, and the Steelers weren't impressive against a poor Ravens team tonight.

Just goes to show you how valuable home wins are in this league, and how hard any kind of win can be to achieve on any given Sunday.

Every game in the NFL has the potential to be a tough one, especially on the road. To win on the road is such a huge deal in the NFL. Look at the Rams two Super Bowl runs. Both years they had stellar road records.

The Ravens and the Steelers are huge rivals. Emotions are always high for their games. It is not a surprise that the game was close.
