What do you think of the Monday Night Football Crew?

I don't like them. Joe Theisman is a know-it-all and Kornheiser is out of his element. What were they thinking with this group? Another thing I hate is that they invite non-football people into the booth at various points in the game and they stay a LONG time. Last week it was Christian Slater and this week they had Jay-Z there. While I'm watching a football game I don't want to hear about somebody's new movie or music ventures. I want to hear the announcers focus on calling the game.

Since I usually have to go to work early on Tuesday mornings, I rarely get to watch a MNF game.

However, it would be nice to hear someone who knows what is going on down on the field.

They talk far too much during the game about everything but football.

Yucko about the time wasted on the Barber brothers. What a distraction about what, good looking twins? I see that Tiki has his future planned as a new football announcer. How special. I never knew that playing for a NY team meant that you had a better chance at announcing when you were done playing.

Tirico is okay, they need to replace the other 2.

Mike Tirico is fine. The other 2 must go. Espn needs to stay focused on the game and stop bringing in all these non- football guest.

The first week of the season when ESPN had 2 games on Monday night, their 2nd crew was Brad Nessler, Ron Jaworski, and our own Dick V, they did a great job and should be doing every game.

I like Kornhieser but i can't stand Thiesman and I think it's pretty funny when Kornhieser proves Thiesman wrong about something he said.

Joe can be annoying .. but I haven't really cared so far.

The best commentators are those that you don't even know are there... they let the players be the stars and they are just presenting the main attraction.

I haven't watched all or half of a Monday night game since, well, the Rams last played on a Monday. I could care less, but I have not been impressed by what I have seen so far. Tirico can stay, but the other two are annoying. BTW, it is supposed to be a football game; not stars on parade. That is the biggest problem with ESPN. They take the "E" or entertainment part too seriously. I just want to watch sports; that is enterainment enough...

Tirico is great, I'm a big Kornheiser fan and I love to hate Theismann. The quirkiness of the announcers and their antics have always been what makes MNF entertaining. Besides, the game is always the star regardless of what happens in the booth.

I'm much more comfortable typing than talking.

I liked the second crew they had on their double header game. Jaws, Vermeil, and Nessler. But ESPN is never going to put on a MNF game that feels like MNF to me, so maybe it doesn't matter.
