Re: What is up with Timmerman?

Back in April I read the Giants had been talking to him, and I haven't heard anything since.

Re: What is up with Timmerman?

Actually after a little digging it seems he had also visited Detroit, Atlanta, Tampa Bay and Washington.

It also seems he is looking for more money than people want to pay a guy with 2-3 years at the most left in the tank.

Re: What is up with Timmerman?

at this point it looks like he may have to wait for some team that has an injury and needs him to fill a hole.

Re: What is up with Timmerman?

the issue isnt so much money as it is that he wants a starting job and up to this point (pending injuries to others), no one seems to think that he can play at that level anymore.

ramming speed to all

Re: What is up with Timmerman?

Adam really wanted to finish his career in St. Louis. Should he not get signed by another team, he will go back to farming near Cherokee, SD. His wife iand children are enjoying having him around the house.

Re: What is up with Timmerman?

Just wait until a training camp injury or one during the season. Teams will be all over him then.

Possibly. However, he won't sign with just anyone. I guess the situation has to be the right one for him.

Bud Light Guy - is sitting in the middle of the road
Re: What is up with Timmerman?

How much is he asking for? I know last season he amounted for $3.1M against the cap, which is way too much for a guard at his age. It was a good move by the Rams to cut him.

I agree somewhat with what you are saying, but is it really to much, here is a 3 time Super Bowl Champion, 4 pro bowls(i think) and years of experience in the trenches,to help bring along our young offensive line,I doubt there is a question from the young guys he could not answer.I would have liked to have kept him around for that reason.how much is that experience worth and he can still play,it's not as though he is all washed up.I guess you can tell I'm a big Timmerman fan.
