will always be the Rams....i loved Fletch more than i ever loved Kurt and ive never rooted for him or any other ex-Ram against us..

kinda reminds me of when the niners fans were split when Montana played for the Chiefs against them!..was fun to watch from the outside...but would not sit well with me if it were my team!

I don't see the need to bring up loyalty, as if you can't still be a Kurt Warner fan, and a Rams fan.

Of course when the Rams play anyone, I root for the Rams.

And this year, the Rams don't play the Cardinals until the second half of the season.

Of the remaining games, I really want to see the Rams step up vs. Washington and I would LOVE to see them somehow kill New England, and also play well vs. Dallas, and beat Seattle in STL.

But it's likely by the time we face AZ, we will barely have 1 win under our belt. As long as we get that first win, I probably would prefer KW to take his team to the playoffs and end his career with some respect since the league wrote him off years ago, vs. us accomplishing nothing by beating the Cardinals. I'll always root for the Rams, but I doubt we can beat KW and the Cards anyway.

If I knew that Jim Haslett would be the coach next year, I would have a little more interest in the Rams getting some more wins this year, but if they're getting somebody new, then I definitely don't care if we beat the Cardinals, and in fact, would rather see my man KW put on a show, like he used to do for us.

I root for the rams, only, except when our rivals are playing I root for their oposition.

When the cardinals play, the hawks or whiners, I want them to lose to improve our divisional standing. Always.

Bruce leaving hurt me a lot more than warner. Bruce has a longer history and is still playing top level football at the moment he left, in MY OPINION Kurt wasn't playing too well at the time he left. I love Warner, Bruce, Flethcher, Bettis, Dickerson, Flipper, Greene and many many others.
But I wouldn't have loved them if they were not Rams at some point. That is the one thing that links them all.

Rams are my number one up and above all players. No competition.

I pull for Kurt whenever they play someone other than the Rams because I like the guy. He was (is) one of the greatest rags to riches stories ever in sports. What's not to like about the guy? Classy, has his head on straight, and never gives up. But when he plays the Rams, I'm a Ram fan and I pull for the Rams.

...same way I feel about Bruce. I hope he does well for himself, except when he plays the Rams. ...then I hope he goes 0-whatever.

I look at it this way. If the Cardinals (with Kurt at the helm) are in playoff contention, and we have a chance to play spoiler, I root for Kurt to lead his team in.

If when we play them we're battling for first in the division (yeah, we'll see), then obviously it's all Rams.

If we have nothing to gain in a victory, then why root against the best QB we've ever had?

Rams are my number one, I never wish for my team to lose.

Hell, I am going to make a bold prediction. We aint goin to the superbowl.

Lets lose all our games (and make the cardinals ones massive to help kurt) so we can get a good pick in the draft too. I suppose we can try against the niners and hawks. That would help one of our ex-players along. Everybody wins. Except the Rams.

Why would I root for my favorite team over one of our best ex-players??

Why??

Because I am a rams fan, plain and simple. I dont care if we are 1-10. I want to beat everybody. I dont play for first pick in the draft. I play to win. Even if pride is all that is left to play for.

I like Kurt Warner alot. But my support goes to the rams first. I love seeing Kurt play and this season he has been back to his usual self. I always hope when he plays us that the game will be a shoot out that we eventually win.
