FIRE SALE FOR "RAIN MAN"
Multiple league sources tell us that the Tennessee Titans are actively shopping cornerback Pacman Jones, who thanks to a reader suggestion will now be known as "Rain Man" on this here site, due to the melee that his "makin' it rain" routine sparked on Sunday.
We've heard that the Titans will take as little as a third-round pick for the No. 6 overall selection in the 2005 draft.
Said one league source: "Maybe the Bengals will take him."

No... I don't want him... I definitely don't want him... I definitely don't want him. Uh-oh, time for Wapner.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
Sad thing is he actually had a pretty good year, too. If someone can control that off the field behavior, they'd be adding a nice player to their defensive backfield. Easier said than done I guess.

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
No way - that guy won't settle down until he gets a Mrs. PacMan.

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
ha classic game,
Yeah I just think if we bring him in and structure his contract it could work, 3rd round isn't expensive for a kid like him I don't think because it's there, he has the ability he just needs the guidence and trading has a way of doing that sometimes. I also think that our organization has a better Coordnater for such a project.

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
As long as we keep a big collection of the large yellow balls on the sideline so he can eat the ghosts i think he would be a good pick up

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
I'd gamble a third round pick on him. If he straightens up off the field, what a bargain. If he doesn't cut him and it's really no major loss.

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
He is a good returner as well, and could eaisly be a star at CB if he sorts his personal life out. He hasnt been bad on the pitch. I would risk it for sure.

Re: Who wants Rain Man?
it would be the 3rd year running that we have spent a third round pick on a highly talented player with issues, cogs is working out fine(never saw what that big a deal was with drafting an O-lineman that has a nasty streak anyway!) Wroten altho hasnt delivered yet i firmly believe given more playing time that he will! and then to pacman ,hmmmmmm i would like to see who they are looking to take in the third first,i really think we need depth with our db`s but not sure he`d handle being fourth choice cb until he proved his worth which is the only way id take him!
