Defensive end Wistrom placed on Hawks' physically unable to perform listl
Mike Sando; The News Tribune
A bad back kept Grant Wistrom off the field for the Seattle Seahawks' most recent minicamp. It now appears Wistrom will miss the start of training camp as well.
The team's prized defensive end was among four players placed on the "physically unable to perform" list Saturday, indicating he failed a physical examination.

Re: Wistrom hurt his back
As much as I hate to see a former Ram down on his luck, there's a part of me that would be laughing wholeheartedly if Seattle doesn't get their money's worth on the first season.

Re: Wistrom hurt his back
That's too bad. Wistrom is a good guy. I saw him on NFL Total Access just yesterday and he looked fine to me. I hope it is not serious.

Re: Wistrom hurt his back
I hate to see a player of his stature going out like that. Lets hope he is fine and I for one, wish him all the best.
Although a possible relapse just before the Rams games is always a favourable event to look forward to

Re: Wistrom hurt his back
Pesonally I would love to have him in the lineup when we play Seattle.
I really want to see some proof that we did the right thing. Watching our highly skilled line shut him down would be great. Not to mention a mental boost for the players. You always get fired up when playing against a former teammate so I say bring him on I hope he miraculously recovers by tommorow.LET'S GO DODGERS

Re: Wistrom hurt his back
he's a good guy and a great player. BUT, he left us for a divisional rival. I wish him well as a former Ram, but I can't say I'd miss him come Seachicken week.
