The ***** had defensive tackle Bryan Henderson in Thursday for a workout at team headquarters in Santa Clara. Henderson recently completed his second season with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League.

The 6-3, 290-pound Henderson caught the ***** eye with an impressive season for the Rattlers, who lost in the Arena Bowl Title Game to the San Jose SaberCats. Henderson posted a team record eight sacks while playing defensive end / tackle and was named the Rattlers Defensive Player of the Year.

Henderson also was named to the Arena Football League’s All-AFL First Team and was named to the AFL’s All-Rookie Team in 2003 after posting 13 tackles and three sacks.

He finished his college football at Northwestern Oklahoma University after transferring from Los Angeles Valley Junior College.
