WR Blackmon finishes year with multiple Jaguar team records
Quoting from the Jaguars website...
Justin Blackmon concluded his rookie season with six catches for 79 yards including a 30-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Blackmon set franchise rookie records for receptions (64), receiving yards (865) and average per reception (13.5). Blackmonís five touchdowns tied Matt Jones (2005) for the most by a rookie in team history.
I'm happy to see that, after a rough summer and early start of the season, Blackmon really started coming through for Jacksonville in the second half of the year. His productive over the final eight games (41 rec for 640 yards and 4 TDs) is pretty outstanding for a rookie, especially considering what it would have projected to over a 16-game stretch. Kind of illustrates how bad quarterback play can hold back the other weapons on offense.
After struggling mightily early in the season, Blackmon finally got on track once Chad Henne replaced Blaine Gabbert under center. He ended up 28th in fantasy points. Blackmon's final eight games of the season prorate to a 82/1,280/8 stat line over a full season.
With a new GM coming to Jacksonville in 2013, hopefully they'll get this guy a legit quarterback. That combined with him keeping his nose clean could spell great things for him. I don't like his chances, though, if the Tebow-to-Jacksonville rumor has any fire behind it.

Tebow-to-Jacksonville would sux for him. He did turn it on after a slow start. Matt Barkley, QB, USC might be a good fit.
