Alright, I'm about done with FF this season

Soooooo inconsistent. Between injuries and an unbelievable amount of parody, FF has become incredibly frustrating for me. Anyone else in the same boat?

Re: Alright, I'm about done with FF this season

Me too... In our 8 team league, where everyone has All-Stars, it is just miserable for me. I have two top 5 backs from last year and I have only had one week where they both put up at least average numbers. Hasselbeck and his butterfingered receivers are killing my QB rating. My premier WR picked his first good game to be last night, two weeks after I dropped him. My most consistant player is my kicker...

Going into MNF last night, I was leading the league leader by four points. I was done and he had the Denver kicker. One FG and one EP and we are tied. I have my backup QB as my tie breaker. Some guy from Carolina that has no animated corpses to throw to... I lose...

Some how, I am still 3 and 4, but I am not making in real plans for any playoff action...

Re: Alright, I'm about done with FF this season

In my league I have battled through my injuries and am doing pretty well. I have noticed that it seems every team is taking some sort of hit this year because of the bug and it just so happens I am taking advantage of it right now, after getting socked earlier.

Be patient...you might just pull through and the others will be the ones hurting.

Re: Alright, I'm about done with FF this season

I am somewhat frustrated. My team keeps putting points up, but not quite enough. My RBs are not pulling in the points that I thought they would. Bulger and the Jets defense are keeping me alive.

Well, I guess the Gods are smiling favorably on this week. I have already won my game, and have a chance at high score of the week, depending on what the Jets D does tonight. Damn roller coaster ride, that's what it is...

RB S. Alexander
RB A. Green
RB S. Jackson
RB W. McGahee
WR R. Wayne
WR D. Driver

ZigZagRam - will become famous soon enough
Re: Alright, I'm about done with FF this season

I'm having my best fantasy football year ever. In my 10-team dynasty league I'm sitting in first place overall at 8-2.

I've gotten pretty lucky with the injury bug. I thought the Randy Moss injury would kill me but I was able to snag Keenan McCardell and Muhsin Muhammed/Nate Burelson have done well as my #2.

A trade I made for Domanick Davis has also worked out pretty well the past few weeks. And the trade I made around week 4 for Antonio Gates has been my best trade ever.

CURRENT ROSTER FOR THE WEST MEMPHIS PAIN TRAIN:
QB: Culpepper, Brees
RB: Edgerrin James, Domanick Davis, Emmitt Smith, Mewelde Moore, T.J. Duckett
WR: Randy Moss, Keenan McCardell, Steve Smith (IR), Nate Burleson, Muhsin Muhammed, Brandon Stokley
TE: Antonio Gates, Boo Williams
K: John Carney, Lawrence Tynes
DL: Michael Strahan (IR), Patrick Kerney
LB: Brian Urlacher, Julian Peterson (IR), D.J. Williams
DB: Darren Sharper, Adrian Wilson
