Well, here we are in the final week of the ClanRam Elite. The Also-rans (winners of the West Division) beat the team with no name (winners of the East) to advance to the title game. Rams4E, the league's highest scoring team, dispatched division rival Ramsbruce in the first round of the playoffs to avenge a week 6 loss. Now Rams4E enter the championship as 28-point favorites despite having lost to the Also-rans in week 8 when the Also-rans were starting two players on bye. Will the Also-rans live up to their name or prove it to be ironic?

The last game on Sunday night would determined the ClanRam Elite Champion of 2008. Right before the Giants and the Panther game, the score of the Championship Game would be Rams4E 75 and Also-rans-58. Rams4E had all his players play earlier in the day and on Friday. Also-ran still had a chance to make an amazing comeback as the team still had Panthers WR Steve Smith and the Giants Defense in a thrilling game.
I was watching the live scoring and the Giants and Panthers game closely that night. I was about to have a heart attack when it appeared that Steve Smith dove into the endzone from Jake Delhomme's pass, but the Giants challenged the play and Steve Smith was shown to have stepped out of bounds and the ball was place a couple inches before the endzone. In what seemed to be a 76-75 Championship game went back to a 70-75 game in favor of Rams4E. After that play, Steve Smith was shut out the rest of the game including in OT. Also-Rans Giants Defense couldn't do much as they allowed over 300 yards and 28 points to the Panthers. The final score became 64-75 of the ClanRam Elite Championship went to my team Rams4E.

Rams4E won the ClanRam Elite Championship by a score of 75 to 64 over Also-rans. Maurice Jones-Drew led the team in scoring in the championship round and Steelers led the team in scoring for the season. Congrats once again to Rams4E on a terrific Fantasy football Season. Hope to see you all next year!
