Just something to think about.......

The 20 team league that is already being formed has about 10 or 12 teams so far, and it is going to be a live draft on August 19th. This league will also have individual defensive players being picked. I was in a league last year that was very simular to this one, same amount of teams and same amount of def players.

Now keep this in mind.......That draft lasted nearly 3 hours......I am sure there are going to be players playing in both leagues this year.....It may be wise to have the two different drafts at least 3 hours apart, or maybe on different days.

Good point, LARAM. We should have these two 12-team drafts a day or week apart, not only for that reason but also in case people can't make it on a certain day or time. One league could hold theirs on a Saturday, the other one a Sunday (for people who work Saturdays), or just spaced a week apart with different times if needed.

Everyone should make sure that when you pick which league to join, once we create them, that you can make it for the draft day & time. Unless you don't mind setting up pre-rankings and auto-drafting your team, of course.

Okay guys, we are up to SEVENTEEN by my count. This leaves a big question mark. There is still plenty of time left until the season starts. There are only three spots left to grab if we go with 20 teams. If we go with 24 teams, that gives us seven extra spots for those late-comers. I don't wanna leave anybody out here, but I'm not going to make 24 teams with only 17 volunteers and risk the chance of one league ending up with nine or ten teams, while the other league has an unmatched number, which would be completely unfair. Don't make me bring in my personal friends to fill it up - Raiders, Titans, and Patriots fans. That would be ugly - I wanna keep this as a ClanRam-only league.

I know guys like ZigZagRam are out there that want to play (you know you do), so I'll leave this open for another week. Next weekend is the deadline, so if you want in, raise your hand now, or be left out. Too bad. This should be plenty of time.

Just to clarify, I shouldn't say deadline, because there will probably still be spots open after everyone here joins. Just trying to get a guestimate.

No problem, that will be decided this weekend when we set up the ClanRam leagues and I'll post every little detail at that point. With more than three weeks left until training camps start, we've got plenty of time.

People, Fantasy Football will be here soon enough. Go enjoy the summer. Check out a park, lake or river. Go play golf. Get outside and just hang out. There will be plenty of time to sit inside and watch football.
