What's Your Best Team

Here's a place to post your fantasy football works of art. What's your best squad look like going into the 2005 season?

Here's my squad, my 2nd year dynasty team. I'm very proud of what I've managed to put together. It's not finished as we're still going through free agency for WR's, TE's and K's but my starters are all there.

QB: P.Manning, J.Plummer
RB: E.James, D.Davis, F.Taylor, C.Williams, D.Rhodes
WR: T.Holt, J.Horn
TE: A.Gates
K: D.Akers

I'm interested to see what various squads around the Clan look like.

Shawn Alexander
Willis McGahee

That's it. Well, those are my two keepers. We hold our draft on the 27th. I'll post the rest then.

Re: What's Your Best Team

That's a nice stable of RB's...I'd give my left foot for those. Not so sure about Horn in the #2 WR position, I would like someone of better value, possible with a better QB throwing to him, but not to bad IMO

Re: What's Your Best Team

Okay, we held our draft. Now remember, this is an 8 team league, everyone has studs at every position...

QB Marc Bulger, STL
QB Kurt Warner, ARI
QB Jake Delhomme, CAR
RB Shaun Alexander, SEA
RB Willis McGahee, BUF
RB J.J. Arrington(r), ARI
RB Cedric Benson(r), CHI
WR Torry Holt, STL
WR Roy Williams, DET
WR Matt Jones(r), JAC
WR Donald Driver, GB
WR Kevin Curtis, STL
TE Antonio Gates, SD
PK Mike Vanderjagt, IND
Def Panthers, Team Defense, CAR

I took some flyers on the WR side, but I feel you can do that. There are so many WR's that score in the league, I think that is the easiest position to pick...

Re: What's Your Best Team

We're a twelve team league so not everyone has a stud lineup.

QB Peyton Manning
QB Drew Bledsoe
RB Mike Anderson
RB Stephen Davis
RB Carnell "Cadillac" Williams
RB Thomas Jones
RB Samcon Gado - Waivers
TE Antonio Gates
TE Dallas Clark
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Joey Galloway
WR Keenan McCardell
WR Rod Smith
K Scott Janikowski
Def Indianapolis

First place as of right now. 10-2 900pts.

Re: What's Your Best Team

Okay, here is my final, end of season roster. Since I have been in the SB for the last three years and won it the last two, I was looking for something different this year, I tried to get as many Rams on my roster as possible and still be competetive:

QB M. Bulger STL
QB D. Garrard JAC
QB R. Fitzpatrick STL
QB J. Plummer DEN
RB S. Alexander SEA
RB M. Faulk STL
RB S. Jackson STL
RB R. Moats PHI
WR T. Holt STL
WR I. Bruce STL
WR J. Galloway TB
TE A. Gates SD
PK J. Elam DEN
PK J. Wilkins STL
Def Rams STL
Def Seahawks SEA[/b]

I had Kevin Curtis for most of the year, but recently dropped him. Before that, I think I had 9 of 15 roster slots filled with RAMS players.

Oh, did I mention I ended up with a 12-2 record and won the Super Bowl?
