CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL - Orlando, Florida

Florida Citrus Bowl: 65,438
ACC No. 4 or 5 vs. Big 12 No. 7
CFN Projection: Florida State vs. Missouri
On one hand, it's exciting to see us going to a bowl (or at least projected) and especially against a noted program like Bowden and FSU.

But on the other hand.......

Of the (I believe) 119 I-A teams in the country, 56 of them (that is to say nearly half) are playing in a bowl.

But hey, a bowl is a bowl, so I'll gladly take it.

Yea, there's nothing to do in such a beautiful city as San Antonio.

Iowa should be happy to be given this bowl.

Re: 2005-2006 Bowl Projections

Iowa deserves better and I wouldn't be suprised if they end up playing in the Outback Bowl. The people who sponsor it wanna have 2 teams that will get alt of money and Iowa fans travel very well.

The bad news: Michigan is playing Nebraska in the Alamo Bowl.
The good news: It's on Dec. 28th, so you're out of school anyway.

I've wondered the same question, but then again the Big 10 is a mixed salad once you get past PSU and OSU.

t3. Wisconsin
wins - Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, Illinois
losses - NW, Penn St., Iowa

t3. Northwestern
wins - Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan St., Iowa, Illinois
losses - Penn St., Michigan, OSU

t3. Iowa
wins - Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota
losses - OSU, Michigan, NW

t3. Michigan -
wins - MSU, PSU, Iowa, NW, Indiana
losses - Wisconsin, Minnesota, OSU

If you ask me, Michigan's death nail was that Minnesota loss at home.
