Garrett's new position
I've been meaning to tell everyone about this for sometime. I've been disappointed with Garrett's performance at CB. I've thought for sometime that Garrett has been playing out of position, so I convinced him to gain 115 lbs and play the line. He will spend a few years learning the position at my alma mater and then our O-line problems will be solved.HU Football Signs Three Texans
SEARCY - Harding signed three players from Texas to NCAA National Letters of Intent during the first week of the 2005 signing period.
Joining the Bisons in the 2005-06 school year are Kevin Garrett of Conroe, Logan McWilliams of Myrtle Springs, and Nathan Ware of Ft. Worth.
Garrett, a 6-3, 295-pound offensive tackle, earned all-district and all-county honors as a senior at Conroe High School.
"Kevin is a very athletic offensive lineman," said Harding head coach Randy Tribble. "We expect him to be a key part of our offensive line for the next four or five years."
No need to thank me, I'm just trying to do my part for the team.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
