    Rough Start for The U

Well, I suppose the Canes had to lose to the Noles at some point, but that was an ugly affair.

Devin Hester, one of my favorite Canes, had an ugly game. He just couldn't seem to get his feet under him fielding punts. He'll have to get his rep back quick, or he'll go from a potential first round pick to an afterthought.

Another one of my favorite Canes had a great day - Greg Olsen. He is the next UM player who will make the pros as a TE. 8 receptions for 137 yards, including several first down catches, is a good start.

New Canes QB Kyle Wright also showed a lot of promise. But their O line needs to do a better job of protecting him, or he'll never last the year.

Nothing personal AV, but any loss for Miami puts a smile on my face.

It seems that few are indifferent about Miami. Most either love them or hate them.
