Sweet Sixteen...Emphasis on South Region
Everyone is focusing only on the free throw woes of my Memphis Tigers and not focusing on two things that they do very well: defense and rebounding. They swarm to the ball and they have more speed than anyone in the NCAA Tourney that's left. They have only been outrebounded one time this year and that one time beat them. However, I don't see that happening to Memphis in Houston.
Speaking of playing in Texas, everyone thinks that's going to benefit the Longhorns. Trust me, it won't matter. They don't sell out the Irwin Center much less a 70,000 seat Reliant Stadium venue. Texas travels very well for football, non-existent for basketball.
I look for a Stanford - Memphis match up to go to the Final Four.
